Franznap produces some excellent 1/72 Napoleonics and these French pre Bardin infantry have been painted as the Italian 5th Regiment with colours based on the Napitalia website. (48 figures in two battalions) The long tails, which the Italians wore in 1813, means that these Franznap french infantry convert easily into Italians. Did the 5th Regiment's grenadiers retain the bearskin in 1813? Unlikely but who knows? The green piping hardly shows. Have added a musician and a small drummer boy also produced by Franznap. Really pleased how these turned out. Ive done the pom poms all the same. The musician's colours are totally made up. Flag by Maverick models.
